USA Reads/World Literacy Foundation are working with the acclaimed Elementary School Harry Moon book series. We are providing Harry Moon books, a backpack, fun Harry Moon extras, teacher resources and in-school support. We strive to engage children in reading and see an entire class discover the joy of reading.
Reading as a community and the shared reading experience has amazing benefits for both the children and the school. Students encourage and challenge each other. They discuss the book together in class, in play, and on their devices. When students read new books, they learn new things about the world around them. When they read the Harry Moon series, they learn about each other, how to be a better friend, and best of all, how to be a hero in their own community.
